Join Us for the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi in Burien

This Sunday, October 4, The Relic Project will join St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Burien, Washington, for its feast day celebration. We are honored to bring several relics for veneration, including relics of St. Francis of Assisi and St. Carlo Acutis.

St. Francis gave his life to following Christ with simplicity and love. St. Carlo shared his devotion to the Eucharist with a new generation. We hope that encountering their relics will encourage visitors to learn their stories, ask for their prayers, and draw closer to Jesus.

The day begins with Mass at 10:00 a.m., followed by the parish celebration from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Alongside relic veneration, visitors can enjoy a ministry fair, food, children’s activities, and an exhibit on the history of the church. Sacred Heart Radio will also provide the Eucharistic Miracles of the World exhibition, designed by St. Carlo Acutis.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Reconciliation will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The celebration concludes with a blessing of the animals at 3:00 p.m.
