"Can I Bless My Friend with Santa Claus?" — Students Encounter the Saints

"Can I Bless My Friend with Santa Claus?" — Students Encounter the Saints

A little boy came up to me and asked if he could pray and bless his best friend with the 1st class relic of Santa.

When you bring over 70 saints to Seattle, one of the most unchurched and PAGAN regions in the United States, and you witness thousands of people flocking to encounter the saints, spiritual conversions taking place, and even non-Christian students praying over one another inside a school that is nearly half non-Catholic Christian... that is why we do what we do.

At St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic School in North Seattle, a student whose parents are not Christian went home and begged them to come see the saints. He wanted them to touch his belongings to the relics. Curious and wanting to support their son, they came to visit. They had never heard of relics before and had no idea what was happening at the school.

Don't just hear it from me, hear it from the students themselves.

These are the moments that remind me why The Relic Project exists.

We do not have major funding. Building this mission from the ground up has not been easy. There have been moments when I wanted to walk away. Moments when I begged God to give this mission to someone else.

Then I realized something:

This was never really about me.

If the saints truly want this mission to exist, it will continue. God will provide what is needed. The saints have a way of opening doors that no one else can.

Week after week, I watch them draw people closer to Christ through their stories, their witness, and their relics.

If you believe in this mission, would you consider becoming a monthly supporter of The Relic Project?

Become a Monthly Supporter

If just 100 people committed to giving $10 per month, together we could raise $1,000 each month—$12,000 annually. That support would allow us to continue bringing relics to parishes, schools, homes, hospitals, and communities that may never otherwise have the opportunity to encounter the saints.

Give Today

Your support helps cover travel expenses, rescue and restore relics, expand the Map of Relics, and grow this mission so that even more people can encounter Christ through the witness of His saints.

We may be a small organization, but we serve a big God.

And the saints are just getting started.

Sincerely,
Anthony Di Mauro, Founder and Executive Director
