Today: Novena Leading to the Canonization Day of Bl. Carlo Acutis

We invite you to please join us for a novena preparing our souls for the upcoming canonization of Bl. Carlo Acutis, who is set to become the first millennial saint.

When the idea for an international database of relics was planted in the heart of our founder, he didn't initially connect the dots that this might be something that is in the footsteps of Bl. Carlo Acutis.

When Anthony proposed this to his mother, she joked with him saying, "So you are trying to copy what Carlo did but with relics?"

As he began to share the idea with more people, many people would say to him, "This is like what Bl. Carlo did but for relics."

Soon, The Relic Project team began to ask Carlo to choose us as our patron saint of our mission.

When he was in Assisi last summer, he visited the incorrupt body of Bl. Carlo and insisted, jokingly, that he, "Help us out or else!"

The Incorrupt Body of Soon-to-be Saint Carlo Acutis

Bl. Carlo Acutis was an Italian teenager known for his deep devotion to the Eucharist and his use of technology to spread the Catholic faith. Born in 1991, he created a website cataloging Eucharistic miracles from around the world, believing that "the Eucharist is the highway to heaven." Despite his young age, he lived a life of virtue and holiness, attending daily Mass and offering his sufferings for the Church. Carlo died of leukemia in 2006 at the age of 15 and was beatified by the Catholic Church in 2020. He is widely regarded as a patron of the digital age.

We also invite you to watch some of the films produced about Bl. Carlo Acutis.
