The Spokesman-Review Front Page Feature: The Relic Project

Spokane man behind the Relic Project aspires to map locations of sacred objects worldwide

As we enter into the sacred days of the Triduum, we are deeply honored to share that our ministry has been featured—for the first time—in a secular newspaper.

What makes this moment all the more providential is its timing. The story was released on Holy Thursday, the very night the Church remembers Christ kneeling before His apostles, washing their feet. He knew their weakness. He knew their sins. He knew they would abandon Him. And yet, He loved them fully.

That same invitation is extended to each of us.

Not because we feel worthy. Not because we feel ready. But because He desires our presence.

If your heart feels distant… if you find yourself tired or hesitant… do not overthink it. Simply go. Sit with Him.

It is in that quiet encounter that grace begins to move.

We pray that this story may stir something deeper within those who read it—that it may draw hearts back to the Church, or at the very least awaken a renewed curiosity… a longing to know Jesus more.

We also extend our sincere thanks to Cindy Hval, the author of this piece and contributor to FāVS News, for taking the time to share our story.

You can read the feature in today’s edition of The Spokesman-Review or view it online. We are grateful for the opportunity to share this mission with our local community.
