Archdiocese of Seattle: Catholic Schools Week

Archdiocese of Seattle: Catholic Schools Week
Student at St. Michael Catholic School Venerating Relics

During Catholic Schools week, The Relic Project was invited out to St. Michael Catholic School in Snohomish WA where Anthony, our founder, gave back to back talks to the students.

Additionally, the Archdiocese of Seattle welcomed us with extraordinary openness and hospitality. What began as a short visit quickly extended through Friday as more communities asked to encounter the saints.

We will be back for ASCEND Day of Eucharistic Revival in Bellevue on May 16th. If you'd like to host a visit with the Saints during our return trip, reach out to us NOW via contact@therelicproject.org

Over the course of the week, our founder gave 11 talks:

Sunday: St. Mary of the Valley Catholic Church, Monroe

Monday: Holy Family Catholic Church, Kirkland, and the Prince of Peace Newman Center at the University of Washington with Fr. Nathaniel Moyne, O.P.

Tuesday: St. Michael Catholic School and Parish, Snohomish

Wednesday: St. Michael Chesterton Classical Academy, Woodinville, followed by relic-hunting visits to North American Martyrs Shrine, St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, and St. Benedict Catholic Church, where parish staff gathered to pray with the saints.

The evening concluded with a home visit in Burien hosted by Catholic illustrator Sam Estrada.

Thursday: A meeting with the Archdiocese of Seattle chancery staff, a visit to St. Anthony Catholic Church in Renton, and a five-hour home visit in Bellevue.

Friday: St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, where we were invited to bring the relics out for veneration with the rosary-making group, followed by a final stop at St. Monica Catholic Church on Mercer Island.

We returned home grateful for the faith, curiosity, and reverence we encountered throughout the Archdiocese.
