50 Saints to Travel to Washington DC as The Relic Project Joins Catholics for Catholics for America’s 250th Anniversary Prayer Gala

We are honored to announce that The Relic Project will be traveling to Washington DC this Tuesday as collaborators in the historic Catholics for Catholics Prayer for America Gala.
The gala will take place on March 19, the feast of St Joseph, at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington DC as part of a national gathering of Catholic leaders, speakers, and faithful from across the country to pray for America and reflect on the spiritual future of our nation as we approach the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Bringing with us more than 50 relics of the saints, our hope is to enrich and spiritually strengthen both the attendees and the speakers who work tirelessly to defend religious freedom and Christian values in the United States.
Relics are a beautiful and ancient tradition in the Catholic Church, rooted in Sacred Scripture:
“So extraordinary were the mighty deeds God accomplished at the hands of Paul that when face cloths or aprons that touched his skin were applied to the sick, their diseases left them and the evil spirits came out of them.”
Acts 19:11–12
Among the relics present will be a very rare relic from the mantle of St Joseph, available for veneration.

Alongside this relic, attendees will also encounter relics from several beloved American saints, including St John Neumann, St Elizabeth Ann Seton, St Frances Xavier Cabrini, and St Kateri Tekakwitha.
Additional relics will include St Michael the Archangel, St John Paul II, St Pius X, St Vincent de Paul, St Carlo Acutis, St Teresa of Avila, St Francis of Assisi, St Maximilian Kolbe, St Maria Goretti, St Catherine Labouré, St Gianna Molla, and many more.
These relics will be present throughout the evening for prayer and veneration.
Why This Moment Matters
At a time when faith and religious freedom face growing challenges in our culture, gatherings like this serve as an important reminder that prayer must remain at the center of public life.
By bringing the relics of the saints to Washington DC, The Relic Project hopes to create a moment of prayer, reflection, and spiritual encouragement for those working to defend faith and freedom in our nation.
The presence of the saints reminds us that the Church has always faced trials, and that holiness, courage, and prayer have always been the path forward.

Please keep this mission in your prayers.
In particular, please pray for our Founder, Anthony Di Mauro, and our Treasurer of the Board of Directors, Patrick Wolf, who will be traveling to Washington DC this week to represent The Relic Project at the gala and to bring these sacred relics for veneration.
We ask for your prayers for safe travels, fruitful encounters, and that the saints may intercede for our country.
