47 Saints: A Powerful Night at St. Thomas CDA ID
Our team had the honor of joining St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Coeur d’Alene for their annual Penance Night on March 26, 2026.
We brought with us 47 sacred relics of the saints, offering a powerful opportunity for encounter, reflection, and grace.

During the evening, several parishioners also entrusted us with relics of St. John Henry Newman and St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, which will now be incorporated into our ministry so that many more may encounter these holy men and women.
At one point, someone asked if the relics were for sale. This opened the door to an important moment of catechesis. The buying and selling of relics is strictly forbidden in the Church, as it constitutes the sin of simony. Relics are not objects to be owned or traded, but sacred treasures meant to be venerated and made accessible to the faithful.
One of the most common challenges we encounter in this work is a lack of understanding surrounding the Church’s tradition of relics. If you’re interested in learning more about this sacred tradition and how you can help preserve and honor it, we invite you to follow along and engage with our mission.
If you benefited from our visit, we invite you to support this work.
Your support makes it possible for us to continue saying yes to invitations like this, sharing the presence of the saints and helping to draw souls closer to Christ.
If you’d like us to visit your parish, school, retreat, conference, or home, we would love to come. Reach out to us today!
